Every student deserves a grade that reflects what they know.
Ambezi Technologies Solutions Limited builds examination and assessment software for Nigerian tertiary institutions. We want what a student knows and what the system records to be the same thing.
Why we built Rubric.
In Nigerian universities and polytechnics, the same thing happens every semester. Scripts go missing, results are late, students appeal and institutions scramble. Behind every lost script is a student whose future depends on a piece of paper nobody can find.
We built Rubric because we believed this could be fixed. Not with more invigilators or heavier penalties, but by taking paper out of the process altogether.
Rubric was designed for the size, the limits and the everyday reality of Nigerian tertiary education. It handles theory and objective exams together, grades with AI, and keeps a permanent digital record that can't be tampered with or misplaced.
What guides us.
Integrity first
The grade a student gets should be the grade they earned. We build systems that make it very hard to change that.
Built for scale
Every semester, Nigerian higher education puts tens of thousands of students through exams. Our platform is built to handle that.
Fast, without cutting corners
Faster results shouldn't mean sloppier marking. AI grading speeds things up without lowering the standard.
Students at the centre
We test every design decision against one question: is the outcome fairer for the student?
